We have decided to install Optixdrive from Optixmarine AB in Solero and Solando during the spring 2019. The Optixdrive is a gearbox that will make it possible to run the main engine at lower speed with the shaft generator connected. This will reduce the running hours on the auxiliary engines and save fuel on the propulsion system. We believe that Optixdrive in combination with Lean Marine will reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions considerably.
